At BZG, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting any information you provide when using Unite, Coherence, and related services.

1. Information We Collect

BZG collects minimal data to improve our services, including:

Crash Reports & Analytics: To diagnose issues and enhance performance.
License & Activation Data: To verify legitimate usage.
Purchase Information: When you buy our products, we collect your name, email address, and billing information. We do not store your credit card information.

2. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain collected data only as long as necessary for legitimate business purposes. If you wish to request data deletion, contact our support team. We are not responsible for data retention at 3rd parties such as Paddle.

3. Privacy in Unite and Coherence

Unite and Coherence are designed with your privacy in mind. Here's how they handle your information:

The apps you create with Unite and Coherence do not communicate with our servers. We don't have access to any personal data within these apps.
We use license activation and update checks common in many Mac apps. These involve some data transmission, but all data is anonymized and not traceable.
The only third-party services we use in Unite are Paddle and Sparkle for license activation and updates, and Microsoft App Center and Sentry for anonymized crash and usage analytics.
The Setapp versions of Unite and Coherence include a 30-day local countdown that requires you to run the creation tool once after this period. This process is local and does not involve data transmission to us.
Coherence includes an extension that checks certain URLs locally. You can disable this at any time by going to Coherence -> Preferences.
Unite uses CryptoSwift for its password manager, and we do not have access to any data stored within.
Coherence uses 3rd party web browsers such as Chrome and Edge. We make no guarantees about the privacy of these applications or extensions within.

4. Site Analytics

We use various analytics tools, such as Microsoft Clarity, Microsoft Advertising, Plausible, and Google Analytics, to understand how you interact with our website. These tools help us capture and analyze behavior metrics, heatmaps, and session replay data. We use this information to improve our website and market our products more effectively.

The data collected pertains to website usage and helps us understand popular products/services and general online activity.
We also use this data for site optimization, as well as fraud and security purposes.
Site tracking is only enabled on our main website (bzgapps.com) and not on our other services at this time.

When you reach out to us for support, we collect your email address, location, browser agent, and any other info you voluntarily provide, such as crash logs or diagnostics. We use this info solely to resolve your support request and retain support emails for context in future interactions.
